Eddie
Ash - Comedy Entertainer
In
an illustrious career spanning more than fifty years, Eddie
Ash has amazed and entertained audiences all
over the world.
Initially working as an acrobat and hand balancer,
he went on to develop an acrobating and head balancing act
which he performed on ice. It was such a unique act that in
1954 he was booked to perform in England without even having
to audition.Highlights of his career have been appearances
on the Australasian Tivoli Circuit, the London Palladium,
the Conrad Hilton Hotel in Chicago and “Holiday on Ice”,
an ice show with which he toured South Africa and South America.Eddie also toured his own ice shows throughout
Australasia and the Pacific, starring with both head balancing
and comedy routines.
Eddie has now hung up his skates and specialises
in knockabout comedy and close-up magic in both stage and
walkabout formats. His interactive magic shows are always
a hit. He can tailor them for any age group and is loved by
everyone from pre-schoolers to senior citizens. A “Charlie
Chaplin” comedy mime routine is also part of his repertoire.
Eddie
performs at both large and small, private or corporate functions.
He is happy to work on his own or as part of a variety line-up.
The size of his audience is immaterial.

In
recent times, Eddie has performed in places ranging from
Japan and New Caledonia to Birdsville and Oodnadatta. He
has also toured with a circus and featured in some television
commercials. His audiences have included conference delegates,
senior citizens and children whom he especially enjoys working
with. He is versatile enough to meet any requirements.
