After Three is a very lively and original jazz trio combining vocals, guitar, clarinet, and drums and, where appropriate, the percussion and vitality of tap dancing.
The After Three repertoire consists of jazz standards mostly from the 20’s to the 50’s, some Euro Gypsy Jazz and some Latin standards. The band presents a very relaxed, sophisticated and swinging improvised live sound at concerts, with Di Lenham’s tap dancing on some numbers used as additional percussion. This, combined with the band’s strong audience interaction, is guaranteed to entertain audiences of all ages.
In venues where power is available After Three uses a powered PA. However, where mobility is required or power is not available, a small portable and rechargeable battery operated PA/guitar amplifier allows After Three to operate virtually anywhere providing an unobtrusive but enjoyable ambience for any occasion.
