A solid rockin’ 3, 4 , sometimes even 5 piece covers band that has its origins from Sydney bands, " Three Day Grothe " & "Dave Gleeson & his band the Stilsons".
Rugby league legend Eric Grothe (Snr) fronts the band on vocals & guitar.
Since forming, the band has featured special guest vocalists including:
Dave Gleeson (The Screaming Jets),
Jon Stevens (Noiseworks),
Wolf Mail (USA blues legend),
Mike Vee (Aust's Got Talent Finalist & Whispering Jack Show).
Mike Vee is currently available for performances with the Gurus in a special night that includes a tribute to the music of Creedance Clearwater Revival.
