Clayton
Crosby
For
the last 13 years, the North West of New South Wales has been
wooed and entertained by the great talents of Clayton Crosby.
The smooth voice, the good looks and the fine musical abilities
of this young man can easily hold the attention of the most
hard to please audience. Clayton has done the hard miles over
the years and has worked with some very talented people.
He
has gigged with various duo's such as 'Rumours' with Linda
Newton, daughter of Slim Newton from 'The Redback on the toilet
seat' fame, 'Double Target' with Paul 'Jasper' Craswell from
the great band 'The Craz' and 'The difference' with Peter
Johnson from the starmaker's winning band 'Grand Junction'
and with both of his sisters Jodie and Kelly, the fabulous
'Crosby Sisters'.
In January 1995 and 1996, Clayton made the final ten in the
Starmaker Quest at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. In
July/August 1996 saw Clayton as part of 'The Difference' duo,
cruise the South Pacific on board the TSS Fairstar. The cruise
was very successful and the duo rated as one of the most popular
ever to sail on the ship.
In
January 1997 Clayton was invited to Geraldine, New Zealand
as a guest artist to perform during the inaugural Country
Music Festival along side his father 'Swanky Benson' and the
'Crosby Sisters,' Jodie and Kelly Crosby.
This
line up proved to be more than just entertaining, leaving
Geraldine with standing ovations at every show. Geraldine
are making plans for Clayton and his family to be part of
future festivals in New Zealand. Clayton has an extremely
vast and varied repertoire ranging from Garth Brooks to AC/DC
and just loves to do requests.
